International Food Day 2016
On Friday 26th February the children at Avenue House celebrated International Food Day. Every class was involved with cooking a dish from countries around the world. Amongst the delicious treats were delcious gingerbread from Germany, Anzac biscuits from Australia, pizzas from Italy and scones with jam and cream from England. The children all really enjoyed the opportunity to cook their dishes and eating them was even better!
“Pupils make a strong start to their education. From their different starting points, all children, including those with SEN and EAL, make rapid progress.”
