Music & Dance Concert
On the afternoon of Wednesday, 28th June, children displayed their musical talents at our annual concert. Those who had received individual tuition throughout the year demonstrated just how far they had come in mastering their chosen instrument. Guitarists, violinists, pianists and a recorder ensemble serenaded our parents with a delightful range of ditties and other more challenging compositions.
The choirs were as always in good voice. With up-tempo contributions alongside melodic combinations, it was literally ‘music to the ears’ for those who listened intently to the efforts of pupils throughout the school.
A carefully choreographed dance courtesy of our ballet students concluded proceedings. Wonderfully graceful in their movements, the coordination and spatial awareness of our ballerinas impressed. Synchronised, yet communicating individuality, the dancers captivated and endeared with a splendid performance.
Hours of practise were in evidence as the children mesmerised those in attendance.
“Pupils make a strong start to their education. From their different starting points, all children, including those with SEN and EAL, make rapid progress.”
