Science - Planets
Year 5 have been studying the science topic of Earth, Sun and Moon. They each researched a planet and shared there findings with the class. In the pictures they are seen completing a jigsaw showing how the planets are arranged in our solar system.

This term Pine has been studying life cycles in Science. They dissected parts of flowers and identified the stamens, carpels, pollen stigma, style, ovary petals and sepals.

In ICT Year 5 have been learning about graphic modelling. One of the challenges the children faced was trying to use Autoshapes, within Microsoft Word, to try to recreate 'The Snail' by Matisse.
