Avenue House School
At Avenue House School there is a wide variety of after-school clubs and sporting activities. Musical and Drama productions are staged regularly, and children have the opportunity to go on a range of educational visits and activity holidays.
Avenue House School prides itself on the many musical and drama productions which are put on throughout the year, including termly productions from the Nursery. Christmas shows and Spring and Summer term productions from children in KS1 and KS2. We also have a network of local schools with whom we play regular sports matches throughout the school year.
Avenue House School offers an after-school care service for parental convenience as well as a variety of after-school clubs, including Drama, Football, Art, Tennis, ICT, Touch Rugby and Ballet.
Educational visits play an important role in helping children relate their class work to the real world. For this reason pupils are taken on outings each term, where they can benefit from having first hand knowledge of London and its surrounding area.
In addition, children from year 5 & 6 have the opportunity to go on a residential activity trip to Black Mountain in Wales, children from year 6 have the opportunity to go to Paris or Brussels for the day and children from Year 3 to Year 6 have the opportunity to go on a skiing activity holiday.
