We then toured the zoo and looked out for any other baby animals. Have a look at the animals we saw.
The children had a wooden toy that was like a cup with a ball on a piece of string. The children had to flip the ball into the cup

Playing with a small wooden spinning top. When it was spun they had to bend down and see if they could pick it up on a piece of paper, which is perfectly demonstrated here.
Mr Bussadori (a parent from Reception), came to give Foundation Phase a talk about sea creatures and his experiences as a diver.

He showed us his mask, and his oxygen tanks. We also looked at different pictures of sea creatures that Mr Bussadori had taken on his dives. Obviously the children were fascinated by his shark tales and he showed us a sharks tooth that he keeps as a souvenir and some rocks that contained fossils. The children really enjoyed the talk.

The children tasted many different cheeses from around the world including Italy, Holland and France. The children were very adventurous and most tried all the different varieties picking some favourites such as cheddar and parmesan.

We enjoyed the Enormous Turnip storytelling session where the children dressed up as the characters in the story and even some of the turnips
