Have a look around the Reception class

The children have been learning about traditional tales and have used puppets to act out the stories.

The children had great fun setting up a hairdressing salon, inspired by one of the children visiting a salon!
The Foundation stage children have today enjoyed a visit from the childrens' traffic club Roadshow Team. Handy Hold, Rhonda Red, Larry Look and Lucy Listen came to tell us stories and explain how important it is for us to hold a grown ups hand, stop, look and listen before we cross the road. We all joined in with the traffic club song and marched and danced along with the traffic club characters. Some of us dressed up and joined the dance. We had great fun and were all given a goody bag to take home.
The Children's Traffic club is a successful, award winning road safety education programme for 3 to 4 year old children which is free to join. |
As you can see the children really enjoy our weekly cooking lessons. It is a very hands on experience involving lots of mathematics and creativity and fun!! We have made our own bread, pizzas and cookies to name but a few culinary delights!
