Yr. 1 (Beech) have been studying the seaside present and past. During their art lessons the children have been exploring texture, working with a variety of mediums, - tissue paper, crayons, ink, paints and pastels. Each child joined all their creations together to make their own seaside scene. These photographs show the wonderful textures created.
Beech class along with Nursery, Reception and Willow(Year 2)went to the London Zoo. Here is what Bailey , Brooke, Georgia, James, Leah, Tara and Thomas from Year 1, wrote about the trip.

Beech combined with Willow class held their assembly with an Olympics theme, describing modern and ancient events during the Olympic Games.

Beech Form went to see a production of Roald Dahl's BFG at the Polkadot theatre. The children worked together to write, type and illustrate a recount of the day.
